1 · Who we are
QuickLab ("QuickLab", "we", "us") provides an AI health-analytics application that helps you record and understand your own health data. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. QuickLab provides informational analysis only — it is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or prescribe.
2 · What we collect
We collect only what we need to run the service:
- Account data — email address and authentication details (including Google sign-in, if used).
- Health journal data — the entries you create: food, activity, metrics, photos of meals, devices and documents, and the values extracted from them.
- Subscription data — plan, status and payment-provider references (we do not store full card numbers).
- Technical data — app version, device type and basic diagnostics. Crash and error reporting is configured to exclude personal identifiers.
3 · How we use it
- To provide the core features you ask for — journaling, charts, the biometric timeline and AI analysis.
- To operate, secure and improve the service.
- To communicate essential service messages, and — only if you opt in — product updates.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your health data for advertising.
4 · AI processing
When you use AI features, the relevant content (for example, a meal photo or a value you enter) is sent to a third-party AI provider to generate the analysis. In the default mode, prompts are designed to be educational and general, and a disclaimer is shown before AI chat. Results are informational estimates and are not medical advice. You can use the manual journal without AI at any time.
5 · Legal basis (GDPR)
- Contract — to deliver the features you sign up for.
- Explicit consent — for processing health-related data and for any optional marketing. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legitimate interests — to secure and improve the service, balanced against your rights.
6 · Sharing
We share data only with processors that help us run the service — cloud hosting, the AI provider, and payment processors — under data-processing agreements. We may disclose data where required by law. We never sell it.
7 · Storage & security
Personal data is encrypted at rest and protected with access controls and the principle of least privilege. We keep data only as long as your account is active or as needed to meet legal obligations. Data-hosting location is chosen to meet applicable regional requirements.
8 · Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you can access, correct, export or delete your data, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent. You can export or delete your journal from within the app, or contact us to exercise any right. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
9 · Age & children
QuickLab is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We apply an age check at registration; where required, users aged 13–15 need parental consent. We do not knowingly collect data from children below these thresholds.
